LCNG REFUELLING STATIONS

Liquid logistics.High-pressure refuelling.

Customised LCNG infrastructure that converts stored LNG into high-pressure CNG for public or captive NGV refuelling. LAIMEX engineers, executes, commissions and supports the complete facility; we do not supply gas.

Unbranded integrated LCNG storage, high-pressure pumping, vaporisation and CNG dispensing facility

LCNG APPLICATIONS

One process route, developed for the actual operating duty

Station capacity and configuration begin with vehicle demand, LNG logistics, site constraints, required autonomy and the customer’s operating model—not a preselected equipment package.

01

Public NGV / Autogas Stations

High-throughput LCNG stations developed for safe, convenient public vehicle refuelling where LNG logistics provide the gas source.

  • Traffic and bay planning
  • Fast-fill dispensers
  • Demand-led storage sizing
  • Remote operational monitoring
02

Captive Fleet Stations

Purpose-built LCNG infrastructure for haulage, bus and commercial fleets, matched to route schedules, refuelling windows and vehicle demand.

  • Fleet-demand modelling
  • Duty and redundancy strategy
  • Controlled vehicle access
  • Availability-focused O&M
03

Integrated LNG + LCNG Facilities

Combined infrastructure that can support industrial gas delivery and vehicle refuelling from one LNG receiving and storage system where technically appropriate.

  • Shared unloading and storage
  • Separated process duties
  • Integrated automation
  • Phased capacity development

TYPICAL PROCESS PATH

From LNG delivery to a safe vehicle fill

The final process design, set points and safeguards are developed from project-specific flow, pressure, ambient, logistics and applicable code requirements.

PBU vaporizer

Maintains the required LNG-tank operating pressure and supports stable liquid delivery to the high-pressure pump.

BOG vaporizer

Warms boil-off gas for controlled pressure management and practical BOG utilisation within the approved process scheme.

EAG vaporizer

Safely warms cold emergency or vented cryogenic streams before discharge through the designed vent system.

EQUIPMENT & SYSTEMS

Every package connected by one engineering basis

Equipment is selected and integrated around process duty, safety, maintainability, local operating conditions and lifecycle support.

LNG unloading & transfer

Tanker connection, transfer hoses or arms, unloading skid, valves, check protection, ESD interfaces, earthing and controlled drainage.

Cryogenic LNG storage

Vacuum-insulated storage tank, level and pressure instrumentation, pressure protection, isolation, impounding and tank-management connections.

HP cryogenic pump skid

High-pressure LNG pumping system selected for station throughput, suction conditions, duty cycle, turndown, redundancy and maintainability.

HP ambient vaporizers

High-pressure vaporisation capacity sized for flow, ambient conditions, icing behaviour, operating duration and required CNG delivery temperature.

PBU, BOG & EAG vaporizers

Dedicated pressure-building, boil-off-gas and emergency ambient gas systems integrated for tank stability, utilisation and safe cryogenic handling.

CNG buffer & priority

High-pressure buffer or cascade storage, priority sequencing, isolation and pressure protection configured around simultaneous-fill demand.

CNG dispensing & metering

NGV dispensers, hoses, breakaways, metering and refuelling controls selected for public or captive-fleet operation.

PLC, HMI & SCADA

Integrated control, alarms, trends, interlocks, data logging, remote supervision and operational reporting across the complete facility.

ESD & F&G systems

Emergency shutdown stations, gas and flame detection, audible and visual alarms, shutdown cause-and-effect, fire protection and safe-state logic.

CAPACITY & CONFIGURATION

Sized for demand, autonomy and real ambient performance

The storage tank, pump, vaporisation, buffer and dispensing systems must be evaluated together. A bottleneck in any one stage affects the complete refuelling duty.

Vehicle demand

Peak vehicles per hour, fleet size, daily throughput and the available refuelling window.

LNG autonomy

Delivery distance, tanker size, unloading frequency, usable tank volume and required operating reserve.

Pump duty

Inlet conditions, flow, discharge pressure, operating cycle, redundancy and maintenance strategy.

Vaporizer performance

Ambient temperature, humidity, icing, defrost philosophy, turndown and continuous-duty requirements.

Fast-fill performance

Buffer volume, bank sequencing, dispenser quantity and simultaneous vehicle-fill demand.

Utilities & expansion

Power availability, backup philosophy, instrument air, data connectivity and future capacity growth.

SAFETY BY DESIGN

Cryogenic and high-pressure hazards managed as one system

LCNG combines LNG handling with high-pressure CNG refuelling. LAIMEX develops the interfaces, safeguards, procedures and competency needed for the facility to reach and maintain a safe operating state.
